2016 Mix.

I’m keeping the tradition alive! I made a mix with some of my favorite songs from this year. I got a little carried away and it’s three and a half hours long. But in my defense, even though the world completely fell apart, a lot of really good music came out in 2016.

Let me know if I missed anything. If you’re on Spotify, click here to follow the playlist. Or if not, here it is on Youtube. Enjoy!

We’re Playing The Kennedy Center!

We are incredibly excited to be playing a show at The Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage next Friday, December 9. Our good friends Paul and Tony at Hometown Sounds were kind enough to invite us to play and we’re so stoked.

We will also have a special guest. Our pal Gavin Fallow will be joining us on violin for part of the set, just to class things up a bit. Doors are at 5:30pm and we play from 6-7. No tickets needed and it’s free, but they don’t provide free parking.

If you’re around, we’d love to see you there. If you’re out of town, they’re filming it and you can stream it online at their site.

We Played REI DC’s Grand Opening…

We had a blast playing a Rock-n-Romp show over the weekend for the Grand Opening of REI in DC with the homies Olivia Mancinia & the Mates and The NRIs. And Biz Markie played a little later. Yeah, that’s right. We opened for Biz Markie…..kind of.

Here are a few photos:

Oh and we’re playing another show in DC on Friday for Sofar Sounds.

Be well.

#TBT to This American Life Playing a WWP Song…

This American Life has a new app out called Shortcut that lets you create clips from the show. Here’s a throwback to the time they played, ‘A Strange Experience’ from the Dear Mr. Watterson score. It’s a great episode on an important topic. You can listen here.

Photos of our Charlottesville Show at The Garage!

Hey friends,

We played a show last week in Charlottesville at The Garage and Lisa was kind enough to bring her camera along and take some photos. Also, Steph Faucher was there with her camera too and sent us her photos. You can view them on Facebook here. Thanks Lisa and Steph!!

The show was amazing and we had such a great time playing with Michael Coleman and his backing band, Rusty Speidel. Many thanks to Sam Bush for setting it up and to Brian McMillen for running sound!

Cheers,
